The issue with Old Greg CA was that it was mutable in short not fully renounced and not fully controlled by the CTO team which can lead to problem in the near future (old rugger dev can change token name and ticker) because it remained under the control of the previous dev who initiated the rug pull. Migration should resolve this, but it hasn't been done before because some whales were against it. Sp00n left due to concerns about the migration, thinking it might be a scam or not understanding the process.

I believe addressing the problem early is important for Greg's long-term roadmap. Whales initially feared the migration idea because they thought it would lead to a price drop and loss of profit, but the price dropped anyway.

I noticed the problem way back in 100k marketcap a month ago and suggested the CTO team a migration, some whales are against it and some sent their tokens but then sp00n quits and their tokens for migration was returned eventually and we just continued it until it dumped.

We have good memories of the old Greg days, but a relaunch is necessary for our community to have full control over the CA. Some people from the CTO team prefer to relaunch only when the price drops below 30k to avoid alarming old holders.

However, I recommend not doing a CTO on the old CA because it isn't fully renounced. Our new CA will have a custom name starting with GREG69. Private sale is currently ongoing for fair distribution of supply, check the forum announcement for more details.

And oh, another Greg called notgreg was created by an old Greg whale who think we rugged the old Greg but heck no and stop being greedy telling your members that we rugged the old Greg, it was the whales. I as the CTO leader hold only 2% and most of our whales from the private group hold 10%+ each. Its community owned not ruggable but yeah risky since I don't hold much to market it anymore hence migration is required to redistribute supply and fix a problem. I sold most of my hold for marketing as well and some whales really helped too. Thanks for that but we will be needing a relaunch for the sake of long-term development and building the community.
